On the 8th (Sun), explore the striking landscape of Band-e-Amir National Park. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 9th (Mon): steep yourself in history at Cultural Landscape and Archaeological Remains of the Bamiyan Valley.

Bangkok, Thailand to Bamyan is an approximately 12-hour combination of train, flight, and car. You can also do a combination of bus, flight, and car. You'll gain 2 hours traveling from Bangkok to Bamyan due to the time zone difference. Wrap up your sightseeing by early afternoon on the 9th (Mon) to allow time for the flight to Kabul.
