Nicknamed the "Emerald City" because of its abundant evergreen trees, Seattle is the cultural and business center of the Pacific Northwest, as well as a popular holiday destination.
On the 2nd (Sat), take in panoramic vistas at Space Needle, explore the world behind art at Chihuly Garden and Glass, and then take a stroll through Pike Place Market. On the 3rd (Sun), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: see the interesting displays at The Museum of Flight, then admire nature's wide array of creatures at Seattle Aquarium, then appreciate the history behind Fremont Troll, and finally take a leisurely stroll along Hiram M. Chittenden Locks.

Kids will enjoy Disneyland Park and Santa Monica Pier. Change things up with a short trip to Disney California Adventure Park in Anaheim (about 40 minutes away).
