A charming old city originally founded as a Roman colony, Valencia is the country’s third-largest urban center.
El Museo Nacional de Ceramica y de las Artes Suntuarias Gonzalez Marti and L'Iber Museo de Los Soldaditos de Plomo will appeal to museum buffs. Take a break from the city and head to Platja de la Patacona and Beach Bikes Valencia. There's still lots to do: take an in-depth tour of Centre Arqueològic de l'Almoina, get a dose of the wild on a nature and wildlife tour, pick up some local products at Mercado Colon, and take a stroll through Barrio del Carmen.
