Albuquerque remains one of the state's secret jewels, as its tourist attractions are often overshadowed by the more popular holiday destination of Santa Fe.
Venture out of the city with trips to Bandelier National Monument (in Los Alamos) and Santa Fe (Canyon Road, Georgia O'Keeffe Museum, &more). There's still lots to do: take a stroll through Albuquerque Old Town, admire the landmark architecture of Spaceship House, learn more about the world around you at Indian Pueblo Cultural Center, and see New Mexico Jeep Tours.
