Turin — 7 nights

City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Family-friendly places like Museo Egizio and Museo Nazionale del Cinema will thrill your kids. Popular historic sites such as Basilica di Superga and Palazzina di Caccia di Stupinigi are in your itinerary. Venture out of the city with trips to Reggia Di Reale (in Venaria Reale), Castello di Grinzane Cavour (in Grinzane Cavour) and Safari Park (in Pombia). There's lots more to do: contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Duomo di Torino e Cappella della Sacra Sindone, make a trip to Piazza Castello, steep yourself in history at Sacra di San Michele, and take in nature's colorful creations at Parco del Valentino.

If you are flying in from United States, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. In April, daytime highs in Turin are 59°F, while nighttime lows are 47°F. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 15th (Sat) so you can travel back home.
