Best known as home the Matterhorn mountain, Zermatt serves as a chic ski resort town of the Swiss Alps.
Start off your visit on the 23rd (Wed): go for a walk through Hinterdorfstrasse, take in the awesome beauty at The Matterhorn, and then explore the striking landscape at Gorner Gorge. Keep things going the next day: enjoy breathtaking views from Sunnegga, then pause for some serene contemplation at Intercontinental Church Society, then explore the different monuments and memorials at Mountaineers' Cemetery, and finally cruise along Gornergrat.
