Sitting astride the Ljubljanica River, Ljubljana is marked with picturesque bridges and a marketplace, designed by the famous architect Jože Plečnik.
Appreciate the collections at Museum of Apiculture and House of Illusions. Visit Bled Castle and Ljubljana Castle for their historical value. Explore Ljubljana's surroundings by going to Bled (Huberto Siroka atelje, Parasailing & Paragliding, &more), Vintgar Gorge (in Zgornje Gorje) and Trzic Museum (in Tržič). Spend the 22nd (Thu) wandering through the wild on a nature and wildlife tour. Valletta, Malta to Ljubljana is an approximately 6.5-hour combination of flight and shuttle. You can also fly; or do a combination of bus and train. Expect little chillier weather when traveling from Valletta in September: highs in Ljubljana hover around 23°C, while lows dip to 11°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 26th (Mon) early enough to drive to Piran.
