On the northern edge of the Pyrénées, Pau is the perfect base to explore the mountains and ride the Funiculaire de Pau, a unique historic funicular railway that links the city center and Boulevard des Pyrénées to the railway station Gare de Pau.
On the 13th (Tue), appreciate the extensive heritage of Boulevard des Pyrenees. On the 14th (Wed), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: explore the historical opulence of Château de Pau, then pause for some serene contemplation at Monastere de saint Norbert., and then head outdoors with Les Gorges de Kakuetta.
