Established on a tradition of growing crops, especially coffee, Presidente Prudente now represents a modern, high-rise city in the west of Sao Paulo state.
On the 21st (Sat), see the interesting displays at Centro de Museologia, Antropologia & Arqueologia, get lost in a book at Municipal Library, then take in the spiritual surroundings of Parish of Nossa Senhora do Carmo (Maristela), and finally walk around Povo Park. On the 22nd (Sun), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: make a splash at Sesc Thermas, take in the architecture and atmosphere at Sao Sebastiao Cathedral, and then make a trip to Santuario Morada de Deus.
