Once an important departure point for immigrants sailing for the New World, Plymouth is now mostly known for being one of the world’s most impressive natural harbors.

Venture out of the city with trips to Paignton Zoo Environmental Park (in Paignton), Eden Project (in Bodelva) and The Lost Gardens of Heligan (in Pentewan).
