The cultural and economic hub of northern Norway, Tromso boasts a historical city center containing one of the highest concentrations of wooden houses in Europe.
Explore hidden gems such as Nordnorsk Kunstmuseum and Northern Light Dog Adventure. Get a sense of the local culture at Perspektivet Museum and Galleri Nord. Change things up with a short trip to Balsfjord Fjordmuseum in Balsfjord Municipality (about 1h 25 min away).
