A city with character, Belfast remains a great place for a leisurely exploration, as it is still relatively undiscovered by foreign tourists, who usually opt to visit Dublin instead.
Let the collections at Ulster Museum and Titanic Belfast capture your imagination. Crumlin Road Gaol and Belfast Castle will appeal to history buffs. Take a break from Belfast with a short trip to Mount Stewart House in Newtownards, about 38 minutes away. There's still lots to do: see the interesting displays at SS Nomadic, get your bearings at Linen Hall Library, get engrossed in the history at HMS Caroline, and admire the masterpieces at Ulster Folk & Transport Museum.

Ancient yet modern, Derry has a photogenic location on the River Foyle and features a series of historic defensive walls that are the most complete in Ireland.
Kick off your visit on the 16th (Sat): examine the collection at The Abingdon Collection, then take an in-depth tour of Ulster American Folk Park, then take an in-depth tour of Museum of Free Derry, and finally make a trip to The Playhouse. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 17th (Sun): appreciate the extensive heritage of City Walls, make a trip to Walled city Londonderry, snap pictures at Peace bridge, then make a trip to Guildhall, and finally take in the local highlights with Walking tours.
