— 7 nights

Slavic Rome

One of Poland's oldest cities, Krakow sits at the foot of the Carpathian Mountains, its historical town center nestled on the left bank of the Vistula River.
Panstwowe Muzeum Auschwitz-Birkenau and Wawel Cathedral will appeal to history buffs. Wieliczka Salt Mine and Muzeum Krakowa, oddzial Fabryka Emalia Oskara Schindlera are good opportunities to explore the local culture. Venture out of the city with trips to Zamek w Niedzicy Dunajec (in Niedzica), Termy BUKOVINA (in Bukowina Tatrzanska) and Silesia City Center (in Katowice). There's much more to do: get to know the fascinating history of Wawel Royal Castle, shop like a local with Sukiennice (Cloth Hall), examine the collection at Galicia Jewish Museum, and steep yourself in history at Muzeum Uniwersytetu Jagiellonskiego Collegium Maius.
