Known for its wide range of restaurants and traditional pubs, Kenmare sits along two major Irish tourist routes, the Ring of Kerry and the Ring of Beara.
Your day-by-day itinerary now includes Ring of Kerry Golf Club. Explore Kenmare's surroundings by going to Glengarriff (Garinish Island & Beara Way), Bantry House & Garden (in Bantry) and Clonakilty (Inchydoney Beach & Michael Collins Centre). Spend the 4th (Sat) exploring the striking scenery along Slea Head Drive. Spend a day of island exploring on the 5th (Sun) at Skellig Michael. The adventure continues: stroll around Gleninchaquin Park, stroll through Old Kenmare Road, look for gifts at Lorge Chocolatier, and get to know the fascinating history of Molly Gallivan's Cottage & Traditional Farm.

For traveler tips, other places to visit, and tourist information, read our Kenmare sightseeing app .

If you are flying in from France, the closest major airports are Cork Airport and Shannon Airport. Expect a daytime high around 21°C in July, and nighttime lows around 15°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 10th (Fri) so you can travel back home.
