Rye is a small town in the non-metropolitan county of East Sussex, within the historic County of Sussex, England, which stands approximately two miles from the open sea and is at the confluence of three rivers: the Rother, the Tillingham and the Brede. Start off your visit on the 6th (Sun): take in the history at Battle Abbey and Battlefield, then look for all kinds of wild species at East Sussex Falconry, then stop by Starlings Art & Craft Collective, and finally take a stroll through Old Town Hastings. On the 7th (Mon), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: explore the historical opulence of Bodiam Castle, look for all kinds of wild species at Rye Harbour Nature Reserve, then indulge your thirst for a good beer at Rye Waterworks MIcropub, and finally steep yourself in history at Landgate.
