Durango — 6 nights

Originally a frontier mining town, Durango is known today for its scenic setting, outdoor activities, and the 1880s steam-powered railway that takes visitors through sections of the mountains where roads don't reach.
Your day by day itinerary now includes RIO EPIC Outfitters, Durango and Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad and Museum, Mild to Wild Rafting and Jeep Tours, and other attractions you added. Discover out-of-the-way places like Bear Creek Falls and Perimeter Trail. Escape the urban bustle at River Rafting & Tubing and Piedra River Trail. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Durango: Ouray (Ouray Alchemist Museum, Cascade Falls Park, &more), Petroglyph Point Hike (in Mesa Verde National Park) and Pagosa Springs (San Juan River Walk & Piedra Falls). The adventure continues: explore the striking landscape at North Clear Creek Falls, look for gifts at Honeyville, examine the collection at Durango Wildlife Museum and Fish Hatchery, and see what you can catch with Duranglers.
