The rainforest meets the sea at Manuel Antonio National Park, a small but scenic natural preserve on the west coast of Costa Rica.
You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Villa Vanilla / Rainforest Spices and Nature & Wildlife Tours. Head to Mama Toucan's Natural and Organic Food Store and Meli Melo Boutiquefor plenty of shopping. Step out of Manuel Antonio to go to Uvita and see Uvita Beach, which is approximately 1h 15 min away. And it doesn't end there: relax and float downstream with a rafting and tubing tour, kick back and relax at Playa Manuel Antonio, and tour the pleasant surroundings at Playa Biesanz.

Set against the backdrop of the imposing Arenal Volcano, La Fortuna de San Carlos offers visitors a chance to explore diverse natural landscapes and sample some delicious local produce.
On the 18th (Wed), view the masterpieces at Onirica Art Gallery, then hike along Ecocentro Danaus, and then take a memorable tour with Tours. On the next day, hike along Arenal Natura Ecological Park and then witness a stunning natural landmark at Tabacon Hot Springs.
