City of Beautiful Towers

Founded in the 10th century as a Viking fishing village, Copenhagen has morphed into the cultural, political, and economic powerhouse of the country.
Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Jaegerborg Dyrehave and Arken Museum of Modern Art. Museum-lovers will appreciate Davids Samling (The David Collection) and Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek. There's still lots to do: visit Nyhavn, explore the different monuments and memorials at Assistens Cemetery, don't miss a visit to The Little Mermaid, and contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Grundtvig Church (Grundtvigs Kirke).

Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Taby Centrum and Westfield Mall of Scandinavia. Deepen your sense of the past at sights like Royal Palace and Strandvagen.
