Bangui, or Bangî in Sango, formerly written Bangi in English, is the capital and largest city of the Central African Republic. Explore hidden gems such as Oubangui River and The Big Mosque. There's still lots to do: pause for some serene contemplation at Notre-Dame of Bangui Cathedral, examine the collection at Musee de Boganda (Boganda Museum), pause for some photo ops at Place de la Republique, and browse the eclectic array of goods at Marche Central (Central Market).
