City of Sails

The largest and most populous city in New Zealand, Auckland combines a rich history and thriving contemporary culture in an abundance of museums, art galleries, and performance venues.
When in Auckland, make a side trip to see Rangihoua Estate in Waiheke Island, approximately Waiheke Island away. There's still lots to do: learn about all things military at Auckland Museum, enjoy a live performance at SEA LIFE Kelly Tarlton's Aquarium, get impressive views of Mount Eden, and savor the flavors at Food & Drink.

Plan my Auckland trip by asking Inspirock to come up with tips and suggestions.

Jeddah, Saudi Arabia to Auckland is an approximately 23.5-hour flight. The time zone difference moving from Arabian Standard Time (AST) to New Zealand Standard Time (NZST) is 9 hours. Traveling from Jeddah in June, expect Auckland to be colder, temps between 15°C and 15°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 9th (Wed) to allow enough time to fly back home.

As home to New Zealand's largest urban area, Auckland Region is by far the most populous in the country, despite its modest proportions. Its concentration of settlements makes it a region of culture, history, and cosmopolitan development, boasting a range of museums, buildings of interest, restaurants, and bars, many in the city of Auckland itself. As with all of New Zealand, you don't have to go far from the urban centers to experience wild and varied landscape on your Auckland holiday: from rugged coastal areas to lush native forests, you'll find stunning biodiversity and impressive geological features.
