City of Smiles

Located on the sea, Aarhus blends a world city with a small-town feel. Home to a young population, the city has a reputation for producing internationally known pop and rock musicians.
Aarhus is known for museums, childrens museums, and shopping. Your trip includes some of its best attractions: look and learn at Aros Aarhus Kunstmuseum, explore the activities along Ega Engso, get curious at Botanical Garden and the Greenhouses, and make a trip to Surf Agency.

Plan my day in Aarhus using traveler tips and tourist information provided by Inspirock.

Manchester, UK to Aarhus is an approximately 5-hour flight. You can also do a combination of car and train; or take a train. Due to the time zone difference, you'll lose 1 hour traveling from Manchester to Aarhus. Expect a bit cooler temperatures when traveling from Manchester in January; daily highs in Aarhus reach 3°C and lows reach -1°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 14th (Fri) early enough to drive to Billund.

Home of LEGO

Billund centers around everything LEGGO, as the seat of the internationally renowed company's headquarters (and also home to the Billund airport, built by the LEGGO company).
You'll find plenty of places to visit near Billund: Ribe (Ribe Domkirke, Ribe Kunstmuseum, &more), Esbjerg Golf Club (in Esbjerg) and Blaavand (Tirpitz & Blaavand Beach). There's lots more to do: let the kids burn off some steam at LEGO House, kick back and relax at Nyso, play a few rounds at Varde Fodboldgolf, and cool off at Lalandia.
