Renowned for its vast royal palace and gardens built by King Louis XIV, Versailles is also one of the wealthiest suburbs of Paris and home to a new cultural notability, such as a thriving artistic and musical scene.
Kick off your visit on the 10th (Wed): don't miss a visit to Palace of Versailles. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: explore the historical opulence of Chateau de Breteuil, then contemplate the long history of Temple de l'Amour, then add some entertainment to your itinerary with Academie Equestre de Versailles, and finally admire the striking features of The Trianons & The Hamlet.

Lourdes is a small market town lying in the foothills of the Pyrenees. Start off your visit on the 15th (Mon): examine the collection at Musée de Cire, get to know the resident critters at Parc Animalier Des Pyrenees, and then explore the galleries of Chateau Fort of Lourdes. On the next day, examine the collection at Château de Pau and then get to know the fascinating history of Boulevard des Pyrenees.
