Russell

Russell, formerly known as Kororāreka, was the first permanent European settlement and sea port in New Zealand. Your day by day itinerary now includes Waitangi Treaty Grounds as well as Haruru Falls. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 24th (Sun): steep yourself in history at Flagstaff Hill Historic Reserve, then contemplate the long history of Pompallier Mission and Printery, and then admire the sheer force of Haruru Falls.
