Cherokee

The center of Cherokee culture in the eastern part of the country, the town named after this Native American tribe serves as a base camp for hiking in the Great Smoky Mountains.
Start off your visit on the 16th (Mon): let the river carry you with a rafting and tubing tour, try to win big at Casino at Harrah’s Cherokee, then see the interesting displays at Wheels Through Time Transportation Museum, and finally brush up on your knowledge of spirits at Elevated Mountain Distilling Co.. On the 17th (Tue), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at Whiteside Mountain and then take in the dramatic scenery at Dry Falls.
