While traveling from Salem, expect little chillier days and about the same nights in Bar Harbor, ranging from highs of 59°F to lows of 42°F. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 21st (Thu) so you can go by car to North Conway.

North Conway combines colonial New England architecture with outlet shops selling goods from some of the world's most recognizable brands, all set amid the scenery of the White Mountains.

Start off your visit on the 22nd (Fri): take some stellar pictures from Cathedral Ledge and then see the sky in a new way at Mount Washington Observatory Weather Discovery Center.
