Beirut, Lebanon to Rabat is an approximately 8.5-hour combination of flight and train. You can also fly; or do a combination of car and ferry. You'll gain 2 hours traveling from Beirut to Rabat due to the time zone difference. The laidback town of Essaouira, known for its forceful trade winds, attracts Moroccan and foreign tourists alike with its sweeping beaches and atmospheric, labyrinthine medina, a World Heritage Site.
Kick off your visit on the 5th (Mon): don't miss a visit to Essaouira Ramparts, trot along with a tour on horseback, and then see Surfing, Windsurfing & Kitesurfing. Keep things going the next day: stop by Zidrop Argan Oil, then take in the local highlights with Walking tours, and then take in the waterfront at Port de Pêche d'Essaouira.
