Known for its wide range of restaurants and traditional pubs, Kenmare sits along two major Irish tourist routes, the Ring of Kerry and the Ring of Beara.
Your day-by-day itinerary now includes Ring of Kerry Golf Club. Change things up with these side-trips from Kenmare: Inchydoney Beach (in Clonakilty), Bantry House & Garden (in Bantry) and Garinish Island (in Glengarriff). Spend the 25th (Thu) exploring the striking scenery along Slea Head Drive. Spend a day of island exploring on the 26th (Fri) at Skellig Michael. And it doesn't end there: get to know the fascinating history of Molly Gallivan's Cottage & Traditional Farm, get outside with Ring of Beara, walk around Gleninchaquin Park, and tour the pleasant surroundings at Old Kenmare Road.

To find reviews, ratings, photos, and more tourist information, use the Kenmare trip planner.

If you are flying in from Canada, the closest major aiports are Cork Airport and Shannon Airport. In June, daily temperatures in Kenmare can reach 20°C, while at night they dip to 13°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 30th (Tue) early enough to travel back home.
