Known for its wide range of restaurants and traditional pubs, Kenmare sits along two major Irish tourist routes, the Ring of Kerry and the Ring of Beara.
Your day-by-day itinerary now includes Ring of Kerry Golf Club. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Kenmare: Inchydoney Beach (in Clonakilty), Bantry House & Garden (in Bantry) and Glengarriff (Garinish Island & Beara Way). Spend the 18th (Sat) exploring the striking scenery along Slea Head Drive. Spend a day of island exploring on the 19th (Sun) at Skellig Michael. There's still lots to do: contemplate the long history of Molly Gallivan's Cottage & Traditional Farm, head outdoors with Ring of Beara, take in nature's colorful creations at The Ewe Experience, and take in the views from Cromwell's Bridge.

Discover how to plan a Kenmare trip in just a few steps with Inspirock's itinerary builder.

If you are flying in from United States, the closest major airports are Cork Airport and Shannon Airport. In July, plan for daily highs up to 65°F, and evening lows to 56°F. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 23rd (Thu) early enough to travel back home.
