Lindsay is a community of 20,354 people on the Scugog River in the Kawartha Lakes region of south-eastern Ontario, Canada. Shop till you drop at Grr8 Finds Markets and Bobcaygeon Farmers' Market. Step out of the city life by going to Ken Reid Conservation Area and Lindsay Golf and Country Club. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Lindsay: Kirkfield (Kirkfield Lift Lock, Carden Plain, & more), Kawartha Settlers' Village (in Bobcaygeon) and The Kinmount Heritage Model Railroad & Museum (in Kinmount). There's still lots to do: make a trip to Lindsay Gallery, view the masterpieces at Art on Kent, relax in the rural setting at Dromoland Orchard & Stables, and see the interesting displays at Horseless Carriage Museum.

For more things to do, where to stay, reviews, and other tourist information, refer to the Lindsay trip planner .

Toronto to Lindsay is an approximately 2-hour car ride. Traveling from Toronto in September, plan for much colder nights in Lindsay, with lows around 1°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 5th (Sat) to allow time to drive back home.
