Travelers looking for an adrenaline boost flock to Jinja, a bustling town on the shores of Lake Victoria, known as the source of the White Nile.
Venture out of the city with trips to Walking tours (in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park), Mgahinga Gorilla National Park (Mount Gahinga & Mount Muhavura) and Katwe Tourism Information Centre (in Queen Elizabeth National Park). There's lots more to do: let the river carry you with a rafting and tubing tour, identify plant and animal life at Kayak the Nile, explore the galleries of Cuupa Arts Gallery, and take in the dramatic scenery at Itanda Falls.

To see reviews, more things to do, traveler tips, and tourist information, you can read our Jinja trip itinerary site .

Expect a daytime high around 32°C in December, and nighttime lows around 20°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 28th (Fri) so you can travel back home.
