Reykjavik, the world's most northerly capital, effortlessly combines small-town charm with heaps of big city energy.
Head to Laugavegur and Hidden People Icelandfor plenty of shopping. Step out of the city life by going to Nature & Wildlife Tours and Thingvellir National Park. Take a break from Reykjavik with a short trip to Blue Lagoon in Grindavik, about 54 minutes away. There's lots more to do: let your taste buds guide you at a local gastronomic tour, pause for some photo ops at Sun Voyager, and take in the architecture and atmosphere at Hallgrimskirkja.
