Set deep in the Ouachita Mountains, the city of Hot Springs almost completely surrounds the national park of the same name.
Step out of the city life by going to Zipline and Arkansas Alligator Farm & Petting Zoo. Let the collections at Mid-America Science Museum and Esse Purse Museum & Store capture your imagination. Venture out of the city with trips to Little Rock (Little Rock Central High School National Historic Site & William J. Clinton Presidential Library). Nestled in the heart of the Ozark Mountains, the whole town of Eureka Springs is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
On the 6th (Mon), visit Eureka Springs Historical Downtown, contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Thorncrown Chapel, then identify plant and animal life at Blue Spring Heritage Center, and finally explore the activities along Beaver Lake. On the 7th (Tue), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: get your game on at Buster's Old Time Photos, then gain insight at Titanic Museum, then identify plant and animal life at Shepherd of the Hills Fish Hatchery, and finally enjoy the sand and surf at Moonshine Beach.
