For most people, any mention of Orlando immediately conjures up images of sprawling theme parks filled with characters plucked right out of popular animated movies.
Get some cultural insight at NASA Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex and Charles Hosmer Morse Museum of American Art. Get outdoors at Time and Tide Tours and Blue Spring State Park. When in Orlando, make a side trip to see Stetson Mansion in DeLand, approximately DeLand away. Have a day of magic on the 21st (Tue) at Walt Disney World Resort. Calgary, Canada to Orlando is an approximately 8.5-hour flight. You can also drive; or do a combination of bus, car, and train. Due to the time zone difference, you'll lose 2 hours traveling from Calgary to Orlando. In December, Orlando is much warmer than Calgary - with highs of 29°C and lows of 17°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 23rd (Thu) early enough to catch the flight to Miami.
