A history spanning over a thousand years, vibrant nightlife, and a mix of Georgian and modern architecture make Dublin a popular European tourist destination.
Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Bru na Boinne and Olde Shillelagh Stick Maker. For shopping fun, head to Glasrai Goodies or DesignYard. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Dublin: Jerpoint Glass Studio (in Stoneyford) and Kilkenny (Kilkenny Castle & Kilkenny Handwrought Silver). There's still lots to do: make a trip to Temple Bar, see the interesting displays at Kilmainham Gaol Museum, stroll around St Stephens Green, and admire the striking features of Trinity College Dublin.

A major hub for visitors exploring Ireland's western regions, Galway serves as a city of art and culture, renowned for its vibrant lifestyle and numerous festivals.
For shopping fun, head to Burren Perfumery or O`Dalaigh Jewellers. Visiting Cliffs of Moher and Connemara National Park & Visitor Centre will get you outdoors. Get out of town with these interesting Galway side-trips: Hazel Mountain Chocolates (in Bell Harbour), The Burren Smokehouse, (in Lisdoonvarna) and Irish Crafts - Doolin (in Doolin). There's still lots to do: look for gifts at Cottage Handcrafts, browse the different shops at Hehirs Of Clifden, and explore the wide array of goods at OMG Zhivago.
