A truly contemporary city criss-crossed by history, Baku offers everything from the modern elegance of the Flame Towers to the medieval UNESCO-listed Old City at its core.

Dubai, United Arab Emirates to Baku is an approximately 6-hour flight. You can also drive. Traveling from Dubai in November, things will get cooler in Baku: highs are around 15°C and lows about 9°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 15th (Tue) to allow enough time to drive to Guba.

A gateway into the majestic Caucasus Mountains, Guba is a glorious stretch of countryside and a great destination for lovers of ecotourism and outdoor adventures.

On the 16th (Wed), appreciate the history behind Guba Genocide Memorial Complex, then walk around Nariman Narimanov Park, then get engrossed in the history at Mountain Jews Museum, and finally take in the spiritual surroundings of Six-Domed Synagogue.

Traveling by car from Baku to Guba takes 2 hours. Alternatively, you can take a bus. Traveling from Baku in November, expect slightly colder with lows of 3°C in Guba. Cap off your sightseeing on the 17th (Thu) early enough to go by car back home.
