One of east Asia's major cultural and financial centers, Seoul boasts five World Heritage Sites and a huge selection of museums, temples, shrines, palaces, parks, gardens, and glass-and-steel skyscrapers.Get some historical perspective at Gyeongbokgung Palace and Changdeokgung Palace. Visit Eulwangni Beach and Masian Beach for some beach relaxation. Explore Seoul's surroundings by going to Buraksan (in Pyeongtaek), Seoul Grand Park (in Gwacheon) and Incheon (Incheon Bridge, Oktoki Space Center, &more). There's lots more to do: stop by Bukchon Hanok Village, see the interesting displays at National Palace Museum of Korea, deepen your understanding at Seodaemun Prison History Hall, and get engrossed in the history at Seoul Museum of History.
