Hythe ©
Hythe, is a small coastal market town on the edge of Romney Marsh, in the District of Shepway (derived from Sheep Way) on the south coast of Kent. Explore Hythe's surroundings by going to Battle (BRITISH design BRITISH made & Battle Abbey and Battlefield), Carr Taylor Vineyard (in Westfield) and Bodiam Castle (in Bodiam). Pack the 31st (Thu) with family-friendly diversions at Knockhatch Adventure Park. Spend the 2nd (Sat) exploring nature at South Downs Way. There's much more to do: find something for the whole family at Drusillas Park, tour the pleasant surroundings at Seven Sisters Country Park, steep yourself in history at Scotney Castle Garden, and meet the residents at Wingham Wildlife Park.

For maps, more things to do, and more tourist information, refer to the Hythe journey planning site .

January in Hythe sees daily highs of 9°C and lows of 2°C at night. Cap off your sightseeing on the 11th (Mon) early enough to travel back home.
