In many ways much more Asian than American, Honolulu is Hawaii's largest city and its center of government, transportation, commerce, and tourism.
Attractions like Waikiki Beach and USS Arizona Memorial make great kid-friendly stops. There's much more to do: take in the pleasant sights at Diamond Head State Monument, stroll the grounds of National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, take in the dramatic scenery at Manoa Falls, and take some stellar pictures from Puu Ualakaa State Park.

Honolulu is just a short distance from Waimanalo. In November in Honolulu, expect temperatures between 84°F during the day and 72°F at night. Cap off your sightseeing on the 21st (Tue) early enough to travel back home.
