With a nickname like the "Pearl of the Orient," it's not surprising Shanghai offers some of the most rewarding attractions and activities in the Far East.
On the 30th (Tue), take in the spiritual surroundings of Jade Buddha Temple, then examine the collection at China Art Museum, then take in nature's colorful creations at Yu Garden (Yuyuan), and finally get a taste of the local shopping with Nanjing Lu (Nanjing Road). Keep things going the next day: take some stellar pictures from Jin Mao Tower, then enjoy breathtaking views from Oriental Pearl Tower (Dongfang Mingzhu), then enjoy breathtaking views from Shanghai World Financial Center, and finally appreciate the extensive heritage of The Bund (Wai Tan).
