Known as "Hollywood North," Vancouver boasts one of the largest film/television industries in the world, second only to Los Angeles and New York.
Kick off your visit on the 22nd (Mon): take in nature's colorful creations at VanDusen Botanical Garden, then see the interesting displays at Britannia Shipyards National Historic Site, and then take a stroll through The West Side. On the 23rd (Tue), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: take in nature's colorful creations at Bloedel Conservatory, get engrossed in the history at Gulf of Georgia Cannery National Historic Site, look for all kinds of wild species at Owl Orphaned Wildlife, then hike along Burns Bog, and finally hike along West Dyke Recreational Trail.

Newark, USA to Vancouver is an approximately 8-hour flight. You can also do a combination of train and flight; or drive. On the 24th (Wed), tour the pleasant surroundings at Lakeside Park, explore by horseback at Diamondhead Outfitters, take in the spiritual surroundings of Queen of Peace Monastery, then admire the masterpieces at Mountain Galleries at the Fairmont, and finally head outdoors with Whistler Village Sports. On the 25th (Thu), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: hike along Harmony Lake Trail, take an in-depth tour of Squamish Lil'wat Cultural Centre, and then admire the sheer force of Brandywine Falls Provincial Park.

On the 26th (Fri), enjoy the sea views from Fort Rodd Hill and Fisgard Lighthouse National Historic Sites, explore the historical opulence of Hatley Castle, explore the activities along Clover Point Park, then ponder the world of politics at Government House, and finally pause for some serene contemplation at Christ Church Cathedral.
