Town Too Tough to Die

Founded in 1877 as a mining camp, Tombstone became one of the most storied towns of the "Wild West." As one of the last frontier boomtowns in the United States, Tombstone prospered between 1880 and 1890, attracting cattle rustlers and outlaws.

Venture out of the city with trips to Wilhelm Family Vineyards (in Sonoita) and Sonoita Vineyards (in Elgin). Next up on the itinerary: get engrossed in the history at O.K. Corral, go on a hair-raising tour with a ghost and vampire tour, indulge your thirst for a good beer at Old Bisbee Brewing Company, and look for gifts at Arlene's S.W. Silver & Gold.
