One of east Asia's major cultural and financial centers, Seoul boasts five World Heritage Sites and a huge selection of museums, temples, shrines, palaces, parks, gardens, and glass-and-steel skyscrapers.
Seoul is known for sightseeing, shopping, and museums. Your trip includes some of its best attractions: take an in-depth tour of Gyeongbokgung Palace, contemplate the long history of Baek In-je's House, take some stellar pictures from N Seoul Tower, and wander the streets of Insadong.

Kochi (Cochin), India to Seoul is an approximately 13.5-hour flight. You can also drive. Due to the time zone difference, you'll lose 3.5 hours traveling from Kochi (Cochin) to Seoul. Traveling from Kochi (Cochin) in January, expect Seoul to be colder, temps between 1°C and -7°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 24th (Tue) so you can catch the flight to Busan.

Busan — 1 night

The country's second city, Busan has often been referred to as South Korea's summer capital.
Start off your visit on the 24th (Tue): browse the eclectic array of goods at Jagalchi Market, then stroll around Yongdusan Park, then take in the spiritual surroundings of Haedong Yonggungsa, and finally get outside with Haeundae Beach.

Getting from Seoul to Busan by flight takes about 2.5 hours. Other options: take a train; or drive. Expect somewhat warmer temperatures when traveling from Seoul in January; daily highs in Busan reach 7°C and lows reach -3°C. You will leave for home on the 25th (Wed).
