An hour's drive from Halifax's international airport, Luneburg boasts both colorful buildings and a colorful history, as well as status as a World Heritage Site.
On the 26th (Mon), kick back and relax at Hirtle's Beach, then get to know the fascinating history of Lunenburg Historic District, then see the interesting displays at Fisheries Museum of the Atlantic, and finally take in the architecture and atmosphere at St. John's Anglican Church.

Kick off your visit on the 27th (Tue): explore the galleries of Halifax Citadel National Historic Site of Canada, admire the natural beauty at Halifax Public Gardens, then enjoy the sea views from Peggy's Cove Lighthouse, and finally appreciate the history behind Swissair Flight 111 Memorial. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 28th (Wed): learn about all things military at Maritime Museum of the Atlantic, then appreciate the history behind The Emigrant Statue, then get engrossed in the history at Canadian Museum of Immigration at Pier 21, and finally take in the spiritual surroundings of St. Paul's Church.

For most visitors on holiday in Baddeck, the town represents the beginning and the end of the world-famous Cabot Trail, a scenic roadway looping around the northern tip of Cape Breton Island.
