City of Palaces

Breathtakingly large, Mexico City provides a home for almost 9 million people living in nearly 1,700 distinct neighborhoods.
Museo Nacional de Antropologia and Chapultepec Castle are good opportunities to explore the local culture. Shop till you drop at Polanco and Ambarte. Change things up with a short trip to Zona Arqueológica de Teotihuacan Estacionamiento Puerta 5 in San Juan Teotihuacan (about 1h 15 min away). Next up on the itinerary: get engrossed in the history at Museo del Templo Mayor, admire the landmark architecture of National Palace (Palacio Nacional), wander the streets of Historic Center (Centro Historico), and explore the world behind art at Palacio de Bellas Artes.
