Rye is a small town in the non-metropolitan county of East Sussex, within the historic County of Sussex, England, which stands approximately two miles from the open sea and is at the confluence of three rivers: the Rother, the Tillingham and the Brede. Kick off your visit on the 12th (Mon): explore the engaging exhibits at Discovery Playground, then identify plant and animal life at East Sussex Falconry, and then step into the grandiose world of Gardens & Grounds of Herstmonceux Castle. On the 13th (Tue), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: delve into the distant past at Landgate, look for all kinds of wild species at Rye Harbour Nature Reserve, and then kick back and relax at Camber Sands.
