Get a sense of the local culture at Denver Botanic Gardens and 16th Street Mall. Popular historic sites such as Denver Union Station and Molly Brown House Museum are in your itinerary. Get out of town with these interesting Denver side-trips: Estes Park (Aspen and Evergreen Gallery, Spas, &more). Kick off your visit on the 17th (Thu): learn about all things military at National Museum of World War II Aviation, appreciate the extensive heritage of Old Colorado City, and then expand your understanding of the military at United States Air Force Academy. On the next day, explore the ancient world of Manitou Cliff Dwellings and then walk around Garden of the Gods.
