Few destinations in Mexico dazzle visitors quite like Cancun, a modern resort town filled with glitzy hotels sitting on picturesque and well-developed Caribbean beaches.
You'll enjoy a bit of beach vacationing at Playa Delfines and The Beach Club. Get outdoors at Swim with Dolphins and National Reef Park of Puerto Morelos. Step out of Cancun with an excursion to Croco Cun Zoo in Puerto Morelos--about 36 minutes away. Spend the 24th (Wed) among aquatic life with a scuba or snorkeling tour. Pamper yourself for a day on the 29th (Mon) at some of the top local wellness centers. There's much more to do: stroll through Playa Tortugas, enjoy breathtaking views from Torre Escenica, explore the ancient world of El Rey Ruins (Zona Arqueologica El Rey), and take in the architecture and atmosphere at Parroquia de Cristo Resucitado.

Your inner history buff will appreciate Ruins of Tulum and Cobá Zona Arqueológica Cobá. Your itinerary includes some good beach time at Akumal Beach and Playa Paraiso. Change things up with a short trip to Sian Ka'an Biosphere Reserve in Sian Ka'an (about 1h 40 min away).
