Let the collections at The Museum of Qin Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses and TangBo Art Museum capture your imagination. Get some historical perspective at Xi'an City Wall (Chengqiang) and Eastern Royal Tombs of the Qin Dynasty of Xi'an. Step out of Xi'an to go to Lantian County and see Shuilu Temple, which is approximately 1h 15 min away. Kick off your visit on the 8th (Sat): take in the spiritual surroundings of Wannian Temple and then appreciate the extensive heritage of Emei Mountain. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 9th (Sun): identify plant and animal life at Mt. Emei Natural Ecology Monkey Reserve, explore the ancient world of Baoguo Temple, and then appreciate the history behind Leshan Giant Buddha (Da Fo).

Deepen your sense of the past at sights like Potala Palace and Nechung Monastery and Temple. Your cultural itinerary includes sights like Jokhang Temple and Xiamiyuan Temple. There's much more to do: steep yourself in history at Sera Monastery, see the sights as you ascend with a climbing tour, get engrossed in the history at Tibet Revolution Exhibition Hall, and contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Drepung Monastery (Zhebang Si).

The cultural capital of the Naxi people, one of the 55 minority ethnic groups in the country, Lijang traces its history back over 800 years, with the city developing from a trading post on the ancient Southern Silk Road.
Take a break from the city and head to Lijiang Spruce Plain and Lijiang Guides - Day Tours. Old Town of Lijiang - China and Yulong (Jade Dragon) Mountain are good opportunities to explore the local culture. Spend the 14th (Fri) exploring nature at Mt. Laojun Mountain National Geological Park ,Yulong Liming. It doesn't end there: make a trip to Mufu Palace and contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Puji Temple, Lijiang.
