The booming city of Bucharest is a sophisticated metropolis with a high contrast of old- and new-world architecture.
Old Town and Mogosoaia Palace will appeal to history buffs. Your cultural itinerary includes sights like Stavropoleos Monastery and Lipscani. Get out of town with these interesting Bucharest side-trips: Urlati (Conacul Bellu & Bellu Manor), Neagra Bison Reservation (in Bucsani) and Ploiesti (The Clock Museum, Muzeul judetean de stiintele naturii prahova, & more). Cairo, Egypt to Bucharest is an approximately 8-hour flight. You can also drive. Prepare for little chillier weather when traveling from Cairo in June: high temperatures in Bucharest hover around 32°C and lows are around 17°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 30th (Tue) to allow enough time to take a train to Constanta.

Constanta is a relaxed seaside town on the coast of the Black Sea.
Start off your visit on the 31st (Wed): get to know the fascinating history of Ovidiu Square, browse for treasures at Tomis Antiques, take an in-depth tour of Museum of National History and Archeology, then take in the spiritual surroundings of Catedrala Sfinții Apostoli Petru și Pavel, and finally stroll through Mamaia Beach. Keep things going the next day: take in the dramatic natural features at Dobrogea Gorges Reserve, then admire the striking features of Constanta Casino, and then get great views at The Mosque of Constanta - Minaret.

As a World Heritage Site, Sighisoara is visited mostly for its fortified Old Town surrounded entirely by city walls.
You'll explore and learn at Art & Crafts and The Spoonman. Do some cultural sightseeing at Sighisoara Historic Center and Fagaras Fortress. Venture out of the city with trips to Ivo Wildlife Park (in Izvoare), Palace of Culture (in Targu Mures) and The Fortified Church of Biertan (in Biertan). There's much more to do: contemplate the waterfront views at Balea Glacier Lake, identify plant and animal life at Breite Ancient Oak Tree Reserve, take an unorthodox tour of Casa Vlad Dracul, and take in the architecture and atmosphere at Darjiu Fortified Church.
