The main town on the largest of Korea's islands, Jeju has a volcanic landscape protected by UNESCO. The World Heritage-listed volcanic island includes the country's highest peak, sets of impressive lava tubes and columns, and several crater lakes.
Explore Jeju's surroundings by going to Seogwipo (Seongsan Ilchulbong, Gwangchigi Beach, &more). Spend the 24th (Fri) wandering through the wild on a nature and wildlife tour. Fly from Seoul to Jeju in 2.5 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of train, taxi, and ferry; or do a combination of car and ferry. Expect somewhat warmer weather when traveling from Seoul in September: highs in Jeju hover around 30°C, while lows dip to 26°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 1st (Fri) early enough to fly to Busan.

Traveling by flight from Jeju to Busan takes 2.5 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of ferry and car; or do a combination of ferry, taxi, and train. Traveling from Jeju in October, plan for slightly colder nights in Busan, with lows around 15°C. Wrap up your sightseeing by early afternoon on the 12th (Tue) to allow time for the flight to Seoul.
